The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying three people wanted in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred at Mosholu Parkway subway station on the border of Jerome Park and Norwood.
Police said that on Friday, April 14, at around 4.55 a.m., a 52-year-old male victim was walking up the staircase into the Mosholu Parkway subway station, serving the 4 line, located at Jerome Avenue and Mosholu Parkway South, when three unidentified individuals who were unknown to him approached him.
They said the first placed the victim into a headlock and displayed a box cutter. The second and third then kicked the victim in the ribs, and stole the victim’s property, including his wallet, book bag, and $350. “The individuals then fled into 3115 Grand Concourse,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital.”
Police said the first suspect is described as a male teen with a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, a gray, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
They said the second suspect is also described as a male teen with a light complexion who is around 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and tan sneakers.

They added that the third suspect is also described as a male teen with a light complexion, is approximately 5 feet, 5 inches tall, and weighs 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.
The attached video and photo were obtained from the vicinity of the incident location, police said.
As reported, the following morning, a fatal shooting occurred one stop further at the end of the 4 subway line at Woodlawn subway station.
