The New York Lottery announced on Friday, Oct. 8, that there were multiple, top-prize winning tickets sold for the Oct. 7 TAKE 5 drawing. The tickets were sold in Fordham Manor in The Bronx and in Troy at the following locations:
- Kings Gift Shop located at 6 W Kingsbridge Road in Fordham Manor, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $21,586.00
- Stewart’s Shops #356 located at 127 Congress Sts. in Troy, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $21,533.00
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winning tickets at all prize levels may be cashed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
New York Lottery officials say the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.59 billion in fiscal year 2020-2021 to help support education in New York State.
