Cardiology researchers at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) and Montefiore Health System (Montefiore) have received a 5-year, $5.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to explore the underlying causes of heart failure among Hispanics/Latinos, who are at heightened risk for heart disease. Investigators will take a novel approach to assessing risk.
