Norwood: Kings College School Gets $1M for New Cafeteria

Students at Norwood’s P.S. 94 Kings College School got a special visit by City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams (C.D. 28) on Thursday, March 27, along with the Schools Superintendent for School District 10, Roberto Hernandez, as they joined local, Democratic, City Council Member Eric Dinowitz (C.D. 11) for the presentation of a check for $1 million to renovate the school’s cafeteria.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14), a Democrat, and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13), a Republican representing Florida, introduced legislation that would immediately cap credit card interest rates at 10%. New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued an address to New Yorkers on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in response to a memo by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) dated Monday, Feb. 10, in which department officials directed “Acting U.S. Attorneys and the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Southern District of New York” to drop, for now, the federal bribery and corruption charges brought against the mayor last year. Adams reduced the federal case to “a months-long saga” and an “unnecessary ordeal” for him, his family, and the City of New York.
