Fordham Manor: Search for Man following Robbery & Assault inside Residential Building

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the man seen in the attached video and photographs who is sought for a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor. Police said it was reported that on Thursday, March 10, at around 11 p.m., inside a residential building in the vicinity of West 192nd Street and Jerome Avenue, an unidentified person approached a 42-year-old male victim and punched him several times in the face. The NYPD said a woman was brought to an area hospital after being hit by a vehicle in a hit and run incident which occurred on the border of the Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights neighborhoods. Police responded to a 911 call at around 1.45 p.m. on Friday, March 18, following a report that a woman had been knocked down by a vehicle at East 188th Street and East Fordham Road. The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance video and photo who is sought for questioning regarding a fatal shooting that occurred in the vicinity of Tremont, located in the 48th precinct, in December 2021. It was reported to police that on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at approximately 9.08 p.m., the victim, a 31-year-old man, was in front of 2001 Arthur Avenue, when he was approached by an unidentified man and shot in the right side of the chest. The shooter then fled on foot to parts unknown.

The NYPD said a 22-year-old man was shot in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx and the department released photos of a person of interest sought in connection with the case. A 24-year-old woman has died following an assault in the Tremont section of The Bronx, and a 27-year-old man has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. The NYPD has confirmed a 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Norwood man on Saturday. Police responded to a call regarding a man who had been shot on Saturday, Feb. 19, at approximately 3.17 p.m., on the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Belmont Avenue in the Tremont section of The Bronx. The NYPD said a 23-year-old man was shot twice in Fordham Manor on Thursday, Feb. 10. Sergeant Edward Riley, NYPD spokesperson, said officers responded to the incident which occurred in front of 2556 Davidson Avenue at 8 p.m. on Thursday. A 23-year-old male victim told police he was walking [along the street] when he heard gunfire. He then sustained two gunshots, one to his left leg and one to his left arm. The victim said the unidentified suspect fled the area in a vehicle in an unknown direction. The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital.
