The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individuals seen in the attached photographs who are sought in connection to a shooting that occurred in the University Heights section of The Bronx. It was reported to police that on Monday, May 9, at approximately 3.15 a.m., in front of 140 West Fordham Road, the three unidentified individuals displayed a firearm and discharged it multiple times, striking a 28-year-old man twice in the leg.   The victim was transported by private means to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. UPDATE Wakefield: Arrest Made in Investigation into Fatal Shooting of 19-Year-Old Male

Police have made an arrest in the murder investigation of a 19-year-old male who was shot multiple times in the chest last month in Wakefield.   On Friday, March 25, at approximately 6.48 p.m., police responded to gunshot activity which was picked up by certain gunshot technology at 4389 Matilda Avenue in Wakefield. Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in front of 638 Nereid Avenue, also in the Wakefield section of the borough.   EMS responded and transported the aided man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
