UPDATE Crotona: 24-Year-Old Man Dies following Fatal Shooting

A 24-year-old man has died following a fatal shooting in the Crotona section of The Bronx.   Police said that on Saturday, May 6, at approximately 4.30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 4371 Third Avenue, just south of the Belmont border. “Upon arrival, officers determined that a 29-year-old male was shot in the chest at the location and was transported via private means to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased,” a police spokesperson said.   “A firearm was recovered. Fordham Manor: Man Stabbed on Valentine Avenue in Stable Condition

Police are looking for two men wanted in connection with a stabbing reported in front of 2527 Valentine Avenue, between East 196th Street and East Fordham Road on Tuesday, April 18.   Police officials say the 28-year-old male victim was walking southbound at 2.25 a.m. when he was approached and stabbed by two assailants.
