Update: Fordham Heights Youth Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 17-Year-Old in Claremont

Police confirmed arresting a youth from Fordham Heights on murder charges on Tuesday in relation to the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Claremont last weekend.   Police responded to a 911 call on Saturday, May 15, at approximately 9.07 p.m. regarding multiple people who had been shot at the rear of 1625 Webster Avenue in Claremont, in the 44th precinct. Fordham Heights: Fatal Shooting of 34-Year-Old Man Amid Dispute

Police responded to a 911 call on Sunday, May 16, at approximately 00.31 a.m., regarding a man who had been shot in front of 340 East 184 Street in Fordham Heights, in the 46th precinct. Preliminary investigation revealed he was a 34-year-old man who had been shot in the abdomen during a dispute at the location.   The man was transported by private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he succumbed to his injury. Allerton: Two Men Sought in Connection with Shooting

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals seen in the attached photo who are sought in connection with a reckless endangerment (shots fired) incident that occurred in the 49th precinct.   On Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at approximately 10.54 a.m., while the two men were standing in front of 2825 Olinville Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx, one of the individuals displayed a firearm and discharged it. Fordham Heights: Police Appeal for Help in Connection with Shooting

On Sunday, April 4, 2021 at approximately 9.05 p.m., police responded to a 911 call about two male victims who had been shot in front of 2105 Monterey Avenue close to Belmont, in the 48th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest and a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.   EMS responded to the location and transported both victims to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where the 37-year-old man was pronounced deceased, and the 31-year-old man remains in critical condition. Update: Bronx Man Charged Over Fatal Shooting In Fordham Heights

Bronx District Attorney, Darcel D. Clark, announced on Monday, Feb. 1 that a Bronx man has been charged for fatally shooting another man in Fordham Heights the day after Christmas.   Clark said the defendant, Marquis Tanner, 30, of East 184th Street, was arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon before Bronx Supreme Court Justice, Michael Gross, on Jan. 29. 2021.
