A 22-year-old man is dead, and three others are wounded, including an 11-year-old boy following a shooting in Claremont Park. Police responded to a call on Saturday, Sept. 18, at approximately 11.13 p.m. regarding an assault that occurred inside Claremont Park in the vicinity of Teller Avenue and Mount Eden Parkway, located in the 44th precinct. A 26-year-old man is dead following a shooting in the Laconia section of the Bronx. On Saturday, Sept. 18, at approximately 10.35 p.m., police responded to a call regarding an assault which occurred inside 3400 Wickham Avenue, located in the 47th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old man lying unconscious and unresponsive in the hallway with a gunshot wound to his shoulder. EMS responded and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
