Fordham: Police Appeal for Help following Non-Fatal Shooting of 15-Year-Old Boy

  Video courtesy of the NYPD The NYPD is seeking the public’s help identifying a person of interest, sought for questioning in connection to an assault and shooting that occurred on the border of Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights.   On Thursday, Feb. 10, at approximately 4.12 p.m., the person in question displayed a firearm from the backseat of a vehicle in the vicinity of East Fordham Road and Webster Avenue. UPDATE Bedford Park: Additional Arrest Made in Fatal Shooting of Two Men

  Police confirm they have arrested a second man in connection with the fatal shooting of two other men following an incident in Bedford Park in February.   Police said officers responded to a 911 call on Saturday,  Feb. 12, at approximately 10.54 p.m. regarding a man who had been shot at East 198th Street and Webster Avenue. Upon arrival, they observed two aided men in front of 397 East 198th Street: a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the torso, and a 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the face.   EMS also responded to the incident

Fordham Manor: 23-Year-Old Man Shot Twice

The NYPD said a 23-year-old man was shot twice in Fordham Manor on Thursday, Feb. 10.   Sergeant Edward Riley, NYPD spokesperson, said officers responded to the incident which occurred in front of 2556 Davidson Avenue at 8 p.m. on Thursday. A 23-year-old male victim told police he was walking [along the street] when he heard gunfire. He then sustained two gunshots, one to his left leg and one to his left arm.   The victim said the unidentified suspect fled the area in a vehicle in an unknown direction. The victim was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital.

Fordham Manor: 15-Year-Old Boy Shot

  Police confirm a male teen was shot in Fordham Manor on Thursday and is being treated at Jacobi hospital.   Police said officers responded to a call regarding the incident in which a 15-year-old boy was shot once in the left leg at approximately 4.15 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, at 2543 Webster Avenue, which is the location of Burlington store.   They said the victim was brought to Jacobi Medical Center where he was in stable condition. Police said the shooter fled the scene in an unidentified vehicle. The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.

University Heights: Police Release Video following Fatal Shooting of 41-Year-Old Man

The NYPD has released a video following the fatal shooting of a man in the early hours of Monday morning in University Heights.   On Monday, Feb. 7, at approximately 00.02 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 2296 Andrews Avenue.   Upon arrival, police observed a 41-year-old man lying on the ground, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to his head. Gunman Sought in Daylight Gun Hill Road Shooting

  Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire and shot a man in broad daylight on a busy Norwood street.   According to police spokeswoman, Detective Annette Shelton, the incident took place in front of the Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 47 East Gun Hill Road at Dekalb Avenue, at 2:47 p.m. on Saturday, January 22.   Shelton said of the incident, “A 21-year-old male was shot in the back and was transported to Montefiore Hospital by private means,” and the unidentified victim remains in stable condition.   Shelton could not provide a description of the suspect. Westchester Square: Livery Driver Shot in Leg While in Car Collides with Second Vehicle

A livery taxi driver was wounded as he sat behind the wheel of his cab by an unknown assailant on Friday in the Westchester Square section of the Bronx. The driver reportedly hit the gas to escape the gunman, causing his vehicle to plow into a parked car. Norwood: Man Shot, Police Search for Suspect

Police confirm a 27-year-old man has been shot by police following a pursuit on Thursday, Jan. 20 in Wakefield.
