Williamsbridge: Search for Group following Non Fatal Shooting

  The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the group of individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct. It was reported to police that on June 12, at around 3.22 a.m., in the vicinity of East 215th Street and Barnes Avenue, the group of unidentified individuals got into a verbal dispute with each other, at which point a reported good Samaritan, in a white Nissan, pulled up to the corner to speak to a female in the group.

Mott Haven: 27-Year-Old Man Dies following Park Shooting

  Police said a 27-year-old man has died in Mott Haven, following a gunshot wound to the head.   On Saturday, May 14, at around 2 a.m., police said they responded to a call regarding a person who had been shot inside Joyce Kilmer Park, located at the corner of East 161st Street and the Grand Concourse.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head, unconscious and unresponsive. Kingsbridge Heights: NYCHA Supervisor Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison for Shooting Superintendant

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Thursday, May 12, that a former New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) employee was sentenced to 12 years in prison for shooting a building superintendent multiple times after being written up for a job infraction.   According to the investigation, as detailed by the prosecution, on Jan. 6, 2020, inside Fort Independence Houses, a residential housing complex located at 3340 Bailey Avenue in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx, the defendant, Frankie Corchado, 48, who worked as a supervisor of caretakers, met with Charles Newton, the superintendent, along with a manager.
