Detectives in the 49th precinct are looking for two gunmen who entered an apartment and shot a man in Pelham Parkway before fleeing the area. The shooting is the latest in a string of violent incidents that have been reported recently in the area. Update: Man Arrested in Pelham Parkway Murder Investigation
A man has been arrested in the context of a recent Pelham Parkway murder investigation. On Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 at approximately 9.38 a.m., police responded to a 911 call in the 49th precinct regarding an unconscious man inside 2140 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx. Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old man inside an apartment with multiple stab wounds to his torso. EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The deceased has been identified as Adam Saunders, 23, of East 42nd Street in Brooklyn.
