Morrisania: 40-Year-Old Man Stabbed Dies

On Thursday, Jun. 11, 2020 at approximately 2:58 a.m., police responded to a 911 wellness check call at 379 East 169th Street within the confines of the 44th precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds throughout the body.   EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing. Pelham Parkway: 69-Year-Old Male Found with Head Laceration, Dies Later at Jacobi Hospital

On Friday, May 29, 2020 at approximately 9:31 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an aided male near the corner of Bolton Street and Pelham Parkway, within the confines of the 49th precinct.   Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 69-year-old male was removed from the location by EMS, and transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, with a laceration to the forehead, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.   The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing. Fordham Manor: 18-Year-Old Male Shot During Dispute on Sunday, May 24

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a shooting on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at approximately 23:14 p.m. in the vicinity of West 190th Street and Webb Avenue, in the Fordham Manor area of the Bronx, within the confines of the 52nd precinct.   Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed that an 18-year-old male victim was shot during a verbal dispute. Bedford Park: Man Slashed in Face

Police responded to a complaint about a felony assault that occurred on May 12, 2020 at approximately 00:03 a.m. at Briggs Avenue within the confines of the 52nd precinct. A 36-year-old male reported to police that he had a verbal argument with a 37-year-old male who punched and slashed the complainant in the face, causing a small laceration to the mouth area. Shopkeeper Attacked in Norwood, Suspect on the Run

Police are looking for a man who punched a shopkeeper at the CS 99 Cents Store & Plus in Norwood on April 28, before rushing out. The suspect entered the store at 368 E. Gun Hill Rd. at around 3:35 p.m., picked a pack of t-shirts and pay with what police say was a fake $20 bill. When the employee went to the back to use a counterfeit detector pen, the suspect tried taking back the bill and brazenly tried walking out of the store with the t-shirts in hand. A nursing assistant enjoying the “Weekend Walks” festival in Norwood on Sept. 29 with her two young children—put her medical skills to work after a volunteer suffered a seizure.
