Pelham Parkway: 23-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been shot at 2143 Cruger Avenue in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx in the 49th precinct, on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at approximately 3.07 p.m.   Upon arrival, police observed a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his chest, unconscious and unresponsive. EMS also responded and transported the man to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing. The deceased is identified as Abdessamad Essafoui of Kingsland Avenue in the Pelham Gardens section

Fordham Manor: Search for Person Wanted in Connection with Stabbing

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the person seen in the attached photo regarding an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct. Update: Overturned Vehicle at Bedford Park Blvd & Villa Ave

  Norwood News received unofficial reports of an overturned vehicle at Bedford Park Boulevard and Villa Avenue in the Bedford Park neighborhood of the Bronx. According to the Citizen’s App, the vehicle overturned around 11.20 a.m. on Friday, April 30.
