Fordham Manor: Three-Vehicle Car Accident Causes Damage but No Injuries

  The NYPD confirmed an accident involving three vehicles occurred at Fordham Road and Webster Avenue on the border of Fordham Manor and Fordham Heights, last weekend. Norwood: Man Punches Woman in Wheelchair

  The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photos regarding an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.   It was reported to police that on Friday, May 14, 2021 at around 11.45 a.m., at the northeast corner of Van Cortlandt Avenue East and Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood, aboard the BX#28 bus which was heading towards Bay Plaza, the suspect approached a 67-year-old woman sitting in her wheel chair, and with a closed fist, struck the victim in the face, before exiting the bus. Morris Heights: Two Male Victims Shot, One Dies

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a male who had been shot at 65 Featherbed Lane in Morris Heights, in the 46th precinct, on Wednesday, May 12, at approximately 4.53 a.m.   Upon arrival on the third floor of the building, officers observed two aided males; a 61-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the stomach, and a 21-year-old with a gunshot wound to the head.   The 61-year-old was transported by EMS to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition. The 21-year-old was transported by EMS to BronxCare Health System, where he was pronounced deceased.
