On Tuesday, Nov. 16, at approximately 6.07 a.m. police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle at 2625 Jerome Avenue. Upon arrival, police observed an 80-year-old man lying on the roadway with trauma to his head and right leg. EMS also responded and transported the man to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased later that day. Police have classified the death of a 29-year-old woman in a Fordham Heights apartment on Nov. 13 as a homicide. As reported, on Saturday, Nov. 13, at approximately 5.49 p.m., police responded to a call for a wellness check inside an apartment at 2390 Creston Avenue, in Fordham Heights, located in the 46th precinct. It was reported to police that on Saturday, Oct. 16, at approximately 3.55 a.m., at the northeast corner of Webster Avenue and East 204th Street, a 22-year-old male victim was walking when three unknown individuals approached him. A car wash employee in the Van Nest neighborhood was hospitalized with a gun shot wound to the leg after a customer got into a verbal dispute with the employee, pulled a gun and shot the worker. On Friday, Nov. 5, at approximately 1.44 a.m, police responded to a 911 call regarding an aided, unconscious man inside 1290 Rodman Place, in the 48th precinct.
