Norwood/Olinville: Man Suffers Minor Injuries in Motor Vehicle Collision

  A man was taken to hospital following a motor vehicle accident on the Bronx River Parkway over the weekend.   Police said on Saturday, May 7, at 6.49 a.m., a Nissan traveling north on the exit ramp of the Bronx River Parkway at East Gun Hill Road [located in the 47th precinct] in the vicinity of Norwood / Olinville rear-ended a 2003 Ford who was stopped in traffic. Morris Park: 16-Year-Old Girl Hit by Truck, Dies

Police confirm a 16-year-old girl has died following a road accident in Morris Park.   According to the NYPD, on Wednesday, May 4, at around 8.22 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a pedestrian who had been knocked down at 1027 Neill Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 16-year-old girl with trauma about the body.   EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jacobi Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. UPDATE Kingsbridge: New Jersey Man Arrested following Murder of 43-Year-Old Bronx Man

Police said a 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Daniel Valdez, 43, in Kingsbridge on May 2.   Police said on Monday, May 2, at 5.53 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man who had been assaulted at a location on Irwin Avenue. Bronxites Remember Happy Land Social Club Fire Victims 32 Years Later
