Residents of Norwood are mourning the apparent but as yet unconfirmed death of a seemingly young homeless man known locally by some as “Kevin,” and affectionately nicknamed “Russia” by others, though one friend of Kevin said he believes he was actually from Bulgaria, not Russia.

A 28-year-old man has died following a fatal shooting in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
