Body Camera Footage of Police-Involved Shooting in Bronx Released by NYPD

NYPD released body-worn camera footage on May 28, 2020 from a police-involved shooting that occurred on Apr. 1, 2020 in the confines of the 45th precinct in the Westchester Square area of the Bronx.   The incident, during which eleven shots were fired by NYPD officers, occurred on the southeast corner of Zerega Avenue and Westchester Avenue. Ricardo Cardona, 55, a civilian, who was armed with a gun and a knife at the time of the incident, died in the days following its occurrence.   The video includes available evidence leading up to, as well as during the incident.
