Police said Dayanara Diaz, of 4326 Richardson Avenue was last seen on Monday, July 18, at approximately 6.04 p.m., leaving her home. She is described as female, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs approximately 110 pounds, is Hispanic, has brown eyes and long black hair. Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man in Wakefield. An NYPD spokesperson said, “On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at approximately 22.46 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 686 East 234 Street, within the confines of the 47 Precinct.” The official added, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 31-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso.” EMS reportedly responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Police officials said there are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the group of individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct. It was reported to police that on June 12, at around 3.22 a.m., in the vicinity of East 215th Street and Barnes Avenue, the group of unidentified individuals got into a verbal dispute with each other, at which point a reported good Samaritan, in a white Nissan, pulled up to the corner to speak to a female in the group.

Police said a 29-year-old man has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man last year in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
