Clark, together with the Office of Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson and the New York Yankees hosted the 6th Annual Run/Walk/Roll to End Domestic Violence on Saturday, Oct. 7. The event kicked off at the steps of Bronx Borough Hall at 161st Street and the Grand Concourse in the Concourse section of the borough at 9.30 a.m. under heavy rain.

Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson launched Domestic Violence Awareness Month at Bronx Borough Hall on Monday, Oct. 2. She was joined by elected officials, advocates, survivors, the DiVA (domestic violence awareness) coalition, and her domestic violence advisory council for the occasion. Wakefield: Queens Man Arrested & Charged with Murder in 2020 Killing of Bronx Man
Police said they have arrested a 32-year-old man from Queens on murder charges in relation to the killing of a 44-year-old man from Wakefield in March 2020. Police said that on Friday, March 20, at around 3.30 p.m., officers from the 47th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding an assault in progress at 224th Street and White Plains Road. “Upon arrival, officers discovered a 44-year-old male with sustained trauma about the head, who was struck with a blunt object,” a police spokesperson said. “EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi, where
