A 41-year-old man has died following a fatal stabbing in Morris Heights police said. On Wednesday, Sept. 7, at around 7.20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed in front of 20 Richmond Plaza in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx, located in the 46th Precinct. “Officers responded to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they observed a 41-year-old male with a stab wound to the left side of the neck,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at St. Barnabas Hospital,” the spokesperson added.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a burglary and attempted rape in the University Heights section of The Bronx. A murder investigation has been launched following the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx. On Sunday, June 19, at around 8.45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a woman who had been shot opposite 1631 Nelson Avenue in Morris Heights, located in the 46th Precinct. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the neck,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022,” the spokesperson added.
