Mt. Hope: Man Sought following Burglary of Residential Building

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photos who is sought in connection to a burglary that occurred in the Mt. UPDATE Fordham Heights: Man, 30, Shot in Chest on Valentine Avenue

  A 30-year-old man was shot in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx on Friday afternoon, Dec. 16, police said.   A police spokesperson told Norwood News the incident took place at about 2.30 p.m. on Friday, at 2314 Valentine Avenue. “We have a male shot in the chest and he was taken to St. Barnabas (Hospital),” the police spokesperson said. “The medical staff have determined that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound. Fordham Heights: Police Launch Murder Inquiry after Man, 28, is Fatally Shot

A GoFundMe page has been set-up to support the family of fatal gun violence victim, Prince Shabazz 14, who, as reported, was fatally shot in Fordham Heights on Wednesday, Nov 30.   As reported, police spokesperson said the incident occurred at around 9.15 p.m. when officers from the 46th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a male who had been shot in front of 2249 Morris Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 14-year-old male [with] a gunshot wound to the torso,” the spokesperson said. “EMS responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.”
