SEE IT: Man Steals Energy Drinks, Threatens Clerk With Needle in Fordham

Energy Drink Robbery
The NYPD needs the public’s help in identifying a man possibly linked to stealing three-dozen cans of Monster Energy at a store in Fordham after threatening the clerk with a hypodermic needle.

Police in the 52nd Precinct got the call around 5 p.m. on Aug. 24 at the Rite Aid store at 49 W. Fordham Rd. The 38-year-old suspect was stopped by the clerk until he flashed the needle. The suspect soon fled on foot on Grand Avenue.

Police describe him as Hispanic, around 35 to 45 years old, weighing 170 pounds, and last seen wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers.

Chain Snatching
Police are trying to find a suspect who, along with several others, robbed a man at gunpoint in Kingsbridge Heights on Aug. 28.

The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. in the area of Jerome Avenue and East 198th Street, according to police. The group approached the victim inside a building hallway and tried forcing the gold chain off him. The victim fought back leading to one of the suspects to take out their gun and begin firing. No one was hurt and the thieves made off with the gold chain.

Sex Creep in Fordham
Police are trying to ID a man wanted for climbing into a woman’s basement apartment and grabbing her by the leg as she was sleeping. This happened on Aug. 4 just after midnight in the area of Bainbridge Avenue and Coles Lane.

The 41-year-old victim quickly rose, screaming, causing the man to flee. Nothing was taken. The man is described as Hispanic, standing at 5′ 04″  with a slim build and a pony tail, weighting 130 pounds.\
