Neighborhood Notes: Gun Buyback, Tenant Assistance, and more

The NYPD will host a gun buyback program on Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following drop-site locations: Mitchell Community Center, 210 Alexander Ave., and Holy Spirit Church, 1940 University Ave. Anyone turning in a handgun or assault rifle in working condition will receive a $200 pre-paid gift card, and a $25 pre-paid gift card in exchange for rifles, shotguns, and airguns. No questions will be asked.
