Bronx Notes: Info Sessions for Free English Classes

The New York Public Library will host free daytime, evening, and weekend English classes. Speaking and listening classes for speakers of other languages and reading and writing for people who speak English will be held. Attend a mandatory information session on June 5 at 2 and 6 p.m. at Bronx Library Center, 310 E. Kingsbridge Rd. The workshops will be held at the senator's office, 2432 Grand Concourse, 4th Floor, Room 419. The public is invited to the biggest NYC festival celebrating Isreal Independence Day, Yom Ha’atzmaut, Thursday, April 26 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, 3700 Henry Hudson Pkwy.
