Search for Man in Connection with Bronx-wide Forcible Touching Pattern

 

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individual seen in the attached surveillance video and photos in connection with a Bronx-wide, forcible touching pattern reported in the 42nd, 46th and 52nd precincts.

 

The first incident took place in the 52nd precinct. It was reported to police that on Thursday, April 29, at approximately 10.15 a.m., in front of 2545 Valentine Avenue in Fordham Manor, a 21-year-old woman was walking southbound on Valentine Avenue when the unknown individual, riding a black e-scooter, approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing northbound on East Fordham Road towards Grand Concourse. The victim refused attention from medical professionals.

The second incident occurred in the 46th precinct. It was reported to police that on Sunday, May 9, at around 3.20 p.m., at the corner of Tiebout Avenue and East 187th Street in Fordham Heights, a 25-year-old woman was standing at the corner when the unknown individual, riding a black e-scooter, approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing northbound on Tiebout Avenue towards East 188th Street. The victim refused attention from medical professionals.

 

The third incident occurred in the 52nd precinct. It was reported to police that on Monday, May 10, at around 1.45 p.m., in front of 2736 Jerome Avenue in Fordham Manor, a 25-year-old woman was walking along the street when the unknown individual, riding a black e-scooter, approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing to parts unknown. The victim refused attention from medical professionals.

 

The fourth incident was reported to police on Tuesday, May 25, at around 5.40 p.m., behind 1041 Prospect Avenue in Morrisania, in the 42nd precinct. A 20-year-old woman was walking southbound on Prospect Avenue when the unknown individual, riding a black e-scooter, approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing northbound on Prospect Avenue. The victim refused attention from medical professionals.

The suspect is described as male, 30 years of age, medium build, medium complexion, and has a full beard and dark hair tied in a pony tail. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored pants, sneakers and a black backpack.

 

Surveillance photos and video of the suspect taken after the third incident, retrieved from a commercial building located in the vicinity of East 166th Street and Prospect Avenue, are attached.
