Regarding Incident 1, it was reported to police that on Monday, June 27, at approximately 6.30 p.m., a 40-year-old male victim was unlocking his moped in front of 711 Magenta Street in Williamsbridge when a group of four men, unknown to the victim, approached him and punched him in the mouth and head.
The victim ran away and left the moped behind. The group took the moped and fled to parts unknown. The victim sustained bruising to the left side of his head and lip but refused medical attention at the scene. The value of the moped is approximately $1,000.
Regarding Incident 2, it was reported to police that on Thursday, July 14, at around 10.20 p.m., a 31-year-old male victim was making a delivery and placed his moped in front of 735 Magenta Street in Williamsbridge.
Upon returning to his moped, two men, unknown to the victim, brandished a knife and began pushing him off the moped, causing injuries to his left knee, left elbow, right wrists and a laceration to his hand.
The two took the keys of the moped and around $50 in cash from the victim before fleeing to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
The assailants are described as male, between 18 and 30 years of age.
Surveillance photos showing two of the four are attached, and were obtained from the location of Incident 1, according to police.
