State emergency officials reported that a motor vehicle collision, involving a school bus occurred on the Cross Bronx Expressway on Tuesday evening.

Officials said the collision took place on Feb. 1, at 4.27 p.m. on the northbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway, approaching Jerome Avenue.

Norwood News reached out to the NYPD and an agency official said there was a report about a collision involving a trailer but he could not provide much further detail at the time. We also reached out to the FDNY. An agency representative later confirmed the department had nothing on file for the incident.

The State emergency alert system confirmed later that all lanes were cleared at 5:26 p.m.

We have no information on any injuries.
