Police: Two 21-Year-Old Men Shot in Bedford Park, Investigation Ongoing, Circumstances Unclear

The NYPD said two 21-year-old men have been shot in Bedford Park.

 

Officers responded to a report that the two men had been shot at East 201st Street and Decatur Avenue by an unidentified third man at around 3.01 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 12. According to the NYPD, the circumstances of the shooting are unknown and unclear at this point.

 

A police spokesperson said, “One male shot in the right arm and groin and one male shot in the right leg.”

 

The spokesperson added that the man shot in the groin was transported to St. Barnabas in stable condition, and the man shot in the leg was transported to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.
