Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Group of Six for Robberies in Norwood, Allerton, Olinville & Longwood

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photo who are being sought in connection with a Bronx robbery pattern traced across the neighborhoods of Norwood, Olinville, Allerton, and the vicinity northwest of Longwood.

 

Police said the first incident took place on Monday, June 24, at around 9.30 p.m. when police responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery near Burke Avenue and Bronx Boulevard in Olinville. They said six unidentified people approached a 42-year-old male victim, stealing his watch, wallet, and chain, before fleeing on foot. They said the victim was treated on scene for minor injuries and refused further medical attention.

 

Police said the second incident took place on Monday, June 24,, at around 9.50 p.m. when police responded to a 911 call reporting a robbery in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East 204th Street in Norwood. They said a 26-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified group of six who stole the victim’s electric bike, phone, and headphones. They said the group fled the location on foot and the victim did not sustain any injuries.

 

Police said the third incident took place on Tuesday, June 25, at around 1.30 a.m. when police responded to a 911 call of a robbery taking place in front of 790 Astor Avenue in Allerton. They said a 28-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified group of six who stole the victim’s electric bike before fleeing the location on foot. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries.

 

Police said the fourth incident also occurred on Tuesday, June 25, at around 2 a.m. when police responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery taking place once again in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East 204th Street in Norwood. They said a 26-year-old male victim was approached by unidentified group of six individuals who stole the victim’s phone, currency, and electric bike before fleeing the location on foot. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries.

 

Police said a fifth incident occurred on Wednesday, July 3, at around 10.59 p.m. when police responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery in front of 1166 Fox Street, northwest of Longwood. They said a 21-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified group of six who stole the victim’s phone, food, electric bike, and currency, before fleeing the location on foot. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries.

Police said a sixth incident took place on Wednesday, July 3, at around 11.30 p.m. when police responded to a 911 call regarding a robbery taking place once again in the vicinity of Webster Avenue and East 204th Street in Norwood. They said a 31-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified group of six who stole the victim’s phone and his electric bike, before fleeing the location on foot. They said the victim did not sustain any injuries.

 

Police said Individual 1 is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers. They said Individual 2 is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray shorts, and black sneakers. They said Individual 3 is described as male, has a dark complexion, and was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and white sneakers. These were the only descriptions available.
