Police Search for Westchester Teen with Autism Who May Be in The Bronx

Yonkers Police Department is appealing to the public for help locating a 17-year-old teen with autism who they believe may be in The Bronx area.

 

At the request of the Yonkers City Police Department communications division, a New York State Missing Child Alert was issued relating to the disappearance of Shamir Aaron, who is from Yonkers in Westchester County at 6.45 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

 

The missing person’s alert was issued for a report of a missing Black, male teen who is believed to be traveling on foot, and who is wearing a grey sweatshirt, pink and white pants, and white sneakers.

 

They said Shamir has autism, has limited verbal skills, and may be in need of medical attention. They said he was last seen on Ritters Lane in the City of Yonkers, Westchester County, at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday.
