Police Appeal for Help Identifying Man Sought in Groping Incident Aboard BX12 Bus

THE NEW YORK City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the person seen in this photo who they say is sought in connection with a groping incident on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12.20 p.m. aboard the BX12 bus somewhere within the confines of the 52nd Precinct which covers some or all of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying and locating the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection with a groping incident aboard a moving MTA bus in the confines of the 52nd Precinct which covers some or all of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.

 

Police said that on Friday, June 14, at around 12.20 p.m. a 27-year-old woman was aboard the BX12 bus when an unidentified person approached her and grabbed her buttocks. They said the person was last seen exiting the bus at Fordham Road and Grand Concourse in Fordham Manor, and fled on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim was not injured in this incident,” a police spokesperson said.

 

They said the person sought is described as male, has a dark complexion, is around 5 feet, 9 inches tall and has a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a black adjustable baseball hat, a black t-shirt, black pants, and was carrying a black fanny pack.
