The NYPD reported that on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about a man who was shot in front of 2760 Bronx Park East, within the confines of the 49th precinct, in the Parkside Housing Project of the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
Identification of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
