UPDATE Feds Settle with NYS Gov Office in wake of Historical Sexual Harassment Allegations against Cuomo
The U.S. Justice Department announced on Friday, Jan. 26, that it has settled a legal dispute with NY State’s executive chamber (governor’s office) to resolve the justice department’s claims that NYS executive chamber, under former former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, engaged in a pattern or practice of sexual harassment and retaliation in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Coinciding loosely with Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 15 and the late Angellyh Yambo’s birthday, which falls on Jan. 24, the Angellyh Yambo Foundation (AYF), which launched on the first anniversary of the teen’s death, held its 1st Youth Gun Violence Prevention Summit on Friday, Jan. 19, in the South Bronx.

Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson hosted a service honoring the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 15, in partnership with News 12 The Bronx and Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located at 1488 Reverend Dr. Fletcher C. Two Moped Riders Sought in Bronx & Manhattan Armed Robbery Pattern
The NYPD is appealing to the public for help identifying the people seen in the attached photo and surveillance video who they say are sought in connection with a robbery pattern that was identified during December and January across various Bronx neighborhoods located within the perimeters of both the 49th and the 50th Precincts, as well as in other northern Manhattan neighborhoods.
