However, with New York City Mayor Eric Adams struggling to cope with the ever-increasing costs of handling the influx of migrants to the city, private funding from entities such as the International Cricket Council (ICC) for such an event would, no doubt, be considered a welcome investment in New York City’s local economy.

The NYPD made a further appeal to the public on Tuesday, Aug. 1, for any information that might be helpful with the investigation into the homicide that occurred, as reported, in Norwood on Friday, July 28, at 5.25 p.m., in which 21-year-old Carlos Borbon was fatally stabbed.
