Join Lehman Stages for an event with Lucrecia Briceno on April 7, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Lucrecia Briceno is a Peruvian artist currently based in Brooklyn. Much of her work has been in association with artists developing innovative and original pieces. Radical Elegance features photographers who subvert the traditional aesthetics of fashion photography, and challenge its elitist practices in the field, as well as the historical, technical, and stylistic approaches that characterize the genre. At the Longwood Art Gallery, photographers do this by taking charge of their narratives, documenting their communities, and shedding light on Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) cultures.
