Olinville: One Senior Hospitalized as Two Sought for Assault & Robbery on East Gun Hill Road

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who they say are sought in connection to a robbery and assault that occurred in Olinville section of The Bronx in the early hours of Saturday morning, June 29.

 

Police said that at approximately 00.35 a.m. on Saturday, two unidentified individuals entered a business located at 688 East Gun Hill Road.

They said the two stole property from the establishment and were attempting to exit the store when they were confronted by a 63-year-old male victim. They said a struggle ensued and one of the two punched the victim in the head, causing him to lose consciousness.

 

“The individuals fled from the scene on foot to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim was transported by EMS to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.”
