The public has a chance to speak directly with representatives from the Kingsbridge National Ice Center, whose plans to build the nine-rink, 5,000-seat arena at the Kingsbridge Armory appear, on its surface, to hit a lull.
Neighbors are expected to gather at Tracey Towers to speak with KNIC representatives, along with its CEO Mark Messier, to pore over details on where the project stands. The $350 million redevelopment project hit a snag last year following infighting between developers and former parties involved with the project.
The news comes amid the Albany Legislature approving a $1 million accessibility study on the Kingsbridge Road number 4 subway train, the station that abuts the massive castle.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Tracey Towers, 40 West Mosholu Parkway South and Community Room B.
Good Morning David, Thank you for coverage of the CB 7 Economic Development Committee meeting last evening. I look forward to reading the article.
As I read the Norwood News articles on-line I see that they are indeed excellent and the paper has a cutting edge of investigative, and community resources articles. (My earlier comments were not as well informed as they should have been.) Bravo to you and your staff.
Eleanor!
Thank you so much for the public shout out. We really try to be as fair and thorough as we can. I appreciate the thoughts.
