NYPD Searching for More Victims in Citywide Sexual Assault Probe, following Arrest of Man

Police are looking for John Russell in connection with Citywide sexual assault allegations.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding any individuals/victims who have had illegal sexual contact with a man who has been arrested for allegedly carrying out sexual offenses against a minor.

 

On Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 8.10 p.m., John Russell, 59, was arrested and charged within the confines of the 77th precinct in Brooklyn on charges of “Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child”, and of “Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less Than 17 Years Old”.

 

Russell is 5 foot, 10 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes.

 

In this instance, the suspect forcibly touched, and sexually assaulted a pre-teen female on more than one occasion. It is believed there may be other individuals who have been victimized as well. A photo of the individual, from the July 30 arrest, is attached.
