NYC Health + Hospitals Welcomes the First Bronx Babies of 2025 Born in its Network

NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi | North Central Bronx welcomed two newborn babies in the early hours of Jan. 1, the first children to be born at each facility in 2025.

 

In Morris Park’s Jacobi Medical Center, at 12:41 a.m., proud, first time parents, Saiful Alom and Mahfuza Tasmine, welcomed their baby girl, Aliha Alom, into the world. Weighing in at 4 pounds, 3.9 oz, Aliha is just 17.3 inches long. The family are residents in the Morris Park community.

A few hours later, at 6:38 a.m., at NYC Health Hospitals/North Central Bronx in Norwood, more pround parents, Gilberto Morales and Janet Navarrette-Carrasco, welcomed the newest addition to their family. Baby girl, Zoe Adaly Morales-Navarrette is their fourth child, and the family live nearby in the Norwood neighborhood.

 

Once again, Norwood News offers her heartfelt congratulations to all concerned on the safe and happy arrival of The Bronx’s youngest and new residents!

 

Also on Jan. 1, Montefiore Health System welcomed the first babies born within its hospital network, as reported.
