NY Lottery: Third-Prize Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in The Bronx

Officials from the New York Lottery announced on Sunday, Nov. 10, that two third-prize-winning tickets were sold for the Nov 9 Powerball drawing, one in The Bronx and one in Queens.

 

They said one prize-winnng ticket worth $50,000 was sold at 965 Castillo Meat & Produce, located at 965 East 172nd Street in the Charlotte Gardens section of The Bronx, and another prize-winnng ticket worth $50,000 was sold at Me Me Supermarket Inc., located at 21-15 Broadway in Astoria, Queens.

 

They said the winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69 and the red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. They said the Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

 

According to New York Lottery officials, the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable one, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to help support education in New York State.
