The New York Lottery announced one top-prize winning ticket was sold in The Bronx in the Dec. 21 TAKE 5 midday drawing. They said the ticket, worth $18,873.50, was sold at Karma Liquors Inc., located at 1004 Morris Park Avenue in the Morris Park section of the borough.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39 and the drawing is televised twice daily at 2.30 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
According to New York Lottery officials, the lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable one, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to help support education in New York State.
