Norwood: Two Thieves Sought in Bronx Burglary Pattern

 

 

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in this video who police officials say are sought in connection with a local burglary pattern identified across Norwood in May 2023.

 

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in the attached video and photos who police officials say are sought in connection with a local burglary pattern identified across Norwood in May.

 

Police said the first incident took place on Friday, May 26, at around 4 p.m. when a person broke into 3322 Bainbridge Avenue (a doctor’s office), through the first-floor, rear window. “Once inside, the individual removed a laptop valued at around $1,000 before fleeing on foot to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

 

The NYPD said the second incident reported was on Friday, May 26, at around 5 p.m. when two people broke into 150 East 210th Street (a doctor’s office) through a second-floor window. Once inside, they said the two stole around $300 in cash and there was also damage done to the first-floor window and second-floor doorframe. Police said there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.

Police said the third incident occurred on Friday, May 26, at around 6 p.m., a person broke the rear, glass window at a doctor’s office located at 3330 Bainbridge Avenue. They said nothing was taken and there were no injuries reported as a result of the incident. They said the property destroyed/damaged was estimated to be around $250.

 

The two people sought are described as male, both with medium complexions, and are estimated to be between 20 and 30 years of age.

 

The attached surveillance photos and video of the men were obtained from the location of the first incident.
