The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached video and photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that on Wednesday, May 1, at around 4.50 p.m., the victim, a 58-year-old woman, was walking inside 3105 Decatur Avenue when an unknown individual approached her from behind and stole her necklaces. “A second individual was outside the location, acting as a lookout while the first individual entered,” police said.
“Both individuals fled on a moped down Webster Avenue to parts unknown,” they said, adding that the victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.
Police said the first suspect is described as male, has a dark complexion and a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, white and gray sneakers, and a delivery bag.
They said the second suspect is also described as male, has a dark complexion and a heavy build. They said he was last seen wearing a black coat, a white t-shirt, black pants, and red slippers.
