The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photo who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Norwood.
Police said that on Sunday, May 19, at approximately 00.45 a.m., three unidentified individuals requested a cab to 3699 Bainbridge Avenue close to Woodlawn subway station. Police said that upon arrival of the cab, all three got into the vehicle, with one displaying a knife while the other two stole $270 in cash from the 28-year-old victim (driver).
“The individuals fled the location on foot, going southbound on Jerome Avenue to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim did not sustain any injuries.”
Police said the first suspect is described as male, has a light complexion and a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing brown sweatpants, a blue hoodie, and black and yellow, Jordan 4 retro sneakers.
They said the second suspect was described as male, had a dark complexion, a slim build, and had his hair styled in “locs.” They said he was last seen wearing a black “Ed Hardy” sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and a black satin cap.
They said the third suspect was described as male, had a dark complexion, a slim build, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black sweatpants, and black and yellow, Jordan 4 retro sneakers.
