Norwood: Police Release Photo of Man Sought for Assault at Lexa Bar

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with an assault that occurred in the 52nd precinct.

 

As previously reported by Norwood News, on March 27, 2021, at approximately 2.29 a.m., the suspect approached a 38-year-old male victim as he stood in the door of Lexa Bar, located at 357 East 204th Street. The individual proceeded to display a knife, which he used to stab the victim multiple times in his back and head. EMS responded, and transported the victim to an area hospital in stable condition.

Pursuant to the ongoing investigation, police confirm that Franklin Abreu, 35, is now sought.
