UPDATE Norwood: Person Sought for Stealing Employee’s Wallet inside Montefiore Medical Center

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo and video who they say is wanted in connection to a theft that occurred in Norwood.

 

Police said that on Thursday, March 6, at around 1.50 p.m., an unidentified person entered an office inside of Montefiore Hospital, 111 East 210th Street. They said the person entered an office and stole a the wallet belonging to a 52-year-old female victim, which contained some credit cards.

 

They said the thief then fled on foot to parts unknown, and later used the victim’s credit cards to make unauthorized transactions totaling around $800 at various locations. They said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Police said the person sought is described as female, has a dark complexion, glasses, and black hair. They said she was last seen wearing a gray jacket, a burgundy shirt, light-colored pants, white sneakers, and was carrying an apple laptop.
