Norwood: No Injuries Reported following Report of Smoke at Residential Home

The FDNY said no injuries were reported following a fire that broke out in Norwood on Sunday, May 5.

 

Fire department officials said the received a call at 6.04 p.m. for a report of smoke at 115 East Mosholu Parkway North.

FDNY officials said the report of smoke was on the fourth floor, that the smoke condition was investigated and it was determined to be from a nearby BBQ. The day itself was quite rainy.

 

Norwood News attempted to speak to some residents of the bulding but most were unavailable. One male resident said they saw the fire unit arriving but did not see any fire or smoke.

 

They said there were no injuries and the inicident was closed normally.
