Update: Police Release More Photos/Video of Suspect Wanted for Questioning in Norwood Burglary Pattern

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man seen in the attached photos who is wanted for questioning in connection with a burglary pattern in the 52nd precinct.

 

It was reported to police that between Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 and Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, in the vicinity of East Gun Hill Road and Decatur Avenue in Norwood, the man unlawfully entered five residential apartment buildings by forcing open the lobby doors with a screwdriver.

Once inside the buildings, he used a screwdriver to force open various mailboxes, and removed multiple contents before fleeing the locations.

 

Pursuant to the ongoing investigation, on Sunday, Dec. 17, the NYPD released additional photos and video, which are attached and show the  suspect inside 33-66 Decatur Avenue on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2.28 a.m.

Anyone with information with regard to the identity of the man is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
